The clinical context
When conventional expansion appliances feel difficult to explain, accept or integrate
Many orthodontic patients and parents react with uncertainty when a treatment appears invasive, bulky or difficult to tolerate. Conventional Rapid Maxillary Expansion (RME) appliances can be clinically important in the right indication, but in selected cases clinicians may wish for an earlier, more comfort-oriented option that is easier to explain, easier to accept and more compatible with daily life.
Parents and patients may feel skeptical when appliances appear invasive, bulky or uncomfortable.
Conventional Rapid Maxillary Expansion (RME) concepts can be difficult to explain emotionally, especially to anxious children or concerned parents.

At its center is the BHS — Bite Harmony System, a slim removable appliance concept designed to leave more space for the tongue and support a more acceptable treatment experience in suitable cases.
For selected indications, Harmoniq Bite may offer a comfort-oriented option before or alongside conventional Rapid Maxillary Expansion (RME) concepts. It is not positioned as a replacement for RME, but as an additional approach for clinicians who want to accompany jaw development earlier, more gently and more understandably in suitable cases.
